I really have no problem with it. That .198/.300/.313 line he has put up just screams overmatched. I really don't even care if they are doing it to delay free agency because it needs to be done. Gordon so far has been a major disappointment and the breakout season once again remains a year away. It would have been nice if he had started the season at AAA in 2007 but it also would have been nice if hadn't waited until September to sign after he was drafted in 2005. Funny how nobody talks about that.

A tale of two Yuni's - the much maligned shortstop is batting .306/.370/.612 in his last 15 games, covering 54 plate appearances. That stretch includes 3 doubles, 3 triples, and 2 home runs. And he has walked more than he has struck out (5 to 4). His first 57 PA's he hit .113/.127/.151, what an unsual season.
