You make it sound like that number is disappointingly small. Of the 24 teams that were in existence since the Royals started in 1969, only the Orioles, Indians (and their third came only last year), Twins, Yankees, A's, Cubs, Dodgers, Phillies and Padres plus the Blue Jays, who started later, have more than two in that period. And the Yankees and Blue Jays only exceed that number because Roger Clemens got passed around like a joint at Woodstock.
